Vulfgang Rainstorme

Vulfgang Rainstorme

A recording artist based in Newfoundland, Canada, Vulfgang Rainstorme was born in 2015 and released his full-length, debut record, She Painted This for Me—a musically and lyrically conceptual work about toxic love—in December of 2016. The date of this release was followed 4 days later by the death of his mother, which, though the artist is otherwise protective of his private life, is of note as it was ultimately the catalyst that turned his placid aspirations to make music into the all-consuming need that it remains to this day.

Because of the unforeseen circumstances around the release date of She Painted This for Me, Vulfgang Rainstorme decided that the record will never be for sale, and will be available only as a free digital download from whatever platform on which it appears (currently, available exclusively through the artist's website). A second official album, called A Yellow Spot, was given a proper release 3 months later as a dedication to his mother.

Regarding his sound, Vulfgang Rainstorme considers himself primarily a "headphone-music" producer, as well as an album-oriented artist; wholeheartedly striving to create dense and absorbing sonic pictures with all work that bears his name.

Vulfgang Rainstorme has no plans to perform live for the foreseeable future. Continuing with a daily, diligent effort in his home studio to create what he believes is the music that no one else could or would make, Vulfgang Rainstorme rests assured that the ones who are supposed to get it do.
